Initial consultation

The First step

Once you have made the decision to seek help with Cambridge Hypnotherapy, the first thing we do is ask you to come along for an initial consultation. This last roughly only 20 minutes, and is complimentary. There is also no obligation at then end, its not a sales process!

The aim of the consultation

The consultation has a few main objectives, which I will try and outline below.

  1. Going to see a hypnotherapist for the first time can be a very daunting and anxiety inducing event. We believe that if you were to attend your first session having no idea about us, the room, or whats going to happen then you’re already battling. You will attend your first session feeling much more comfortable having met us before.

  2. Anyone can write a website, or have one written for them. Come and get a feel for us as professionals. We are super confident that you will quickly start to see that we don’t only talk the talk, but we are more than capable of walking the walk too.

  3. We want you to understand the process. When you mention the word hypnosis to people, it conjures up a loss of control, being humiliated on stage or having a watch swung in front of your face. We can explain not only what NLP, TimeLine Therapy and Hypnosis are, but more importantly how we will use them for you personally.

  4. It is for us too! Now that may seem strange, but let me explain. It is a chance for us to decide whether we believe we can help you. We don’t work with everyone who enquires. We will only book you in for sessions if we are sure we can help you achieve your goals.

These are just a few points as to why we believe offering a FREE initial consultation is vital in making sure you are giving yourself the best chance to let go of your issue. I made a quick Facebook video about it which you can see here.
